NSW AUS Time Attack Wakefield 2018

    Who's going this year?

    June 23rd.

It was one of the best events I did in 2017 in the Turbo Taxi.
Always towards the back of the field in Clubsprint but zero fucks are given.

It was awesome fun sliding the car around on street tyres, and a PB is what it's really about for all participants.

Not this year, but it's on the "to do" list.

Hope they get some decent numbers this year.

1min04 flat won last year in Clubsprint, possibly 1min03 this year!

Jdmyards TA Civic punched out a solid 57 last month at the Honda nats but BYP's Integra still has the fwd TA title by a few hundredths.

Should we start a general Time Attack thread in the Motorsport section so that all TA enthusiasts and competitors can keep track of all these events and the TA scene in one thread?

An Audi GT did a low 57 at WP on Sunday in Prod Sports. Will be interesting to see how much faster the TA cars can go.

Would this 4 point harness be OK in Clubsprint with a stock seat?

AUS Time Attack seems a little more casual than WTA.

Interesting idea, but it looks like this uses the existing male and female connectors of your existing seat belts. So I'd assume there must be a RHD and LHD variant, and looking at the pics the male connector would need to be at the floor level when fully retracted. It looks like they have specific models for specific vehicles. So you'd need to check whether your vehicle and seat belt configuration would be compatible.

Edit: Just watched the video, comes with the male ends to bolt into the car. So just need to make sure to get the correct side.

Looks to be a great idea for street registered track cars! Especially the Pro version for use with a Hans.
