    CV experts?

Before i bastardise these 2 bits together,

Is there something similarly available like this H1 hummer stub that can be modified to suit. (ie spline too long)

Im assuming ill require custom shafts anyhow, would prefer seperate cv's on a shaft rather than the hummer joint.

    any ideas??

    Porsche 911 is 110mm iirc.
2.0L Kombi et al was 100mm and basic vw 90mm.
Iím following with interest as I need to consider this exact conversion in the near future.

Can you adapt the hub to fit a bolt in wheel bearing such as skyline and run skyline stubs and flanges?
I have a bearing if you want to size one up.

havent looked at it from that angle, though ill be sticking with the merc pattern as not wanting to change wheels..

I really need to get hold of a set of commodore shafts to measure as i may be able to get to cut/shut stub offset right to use the standards..

I'm no expert but the H1 CV looks a bit like the outer CV's I run on my buggy. A chinese copy of a 2000 model front F150 CV. Same shaft spline as a 930 CV.

    Or try this:

No idea if thats any use but there you go..

    thought id update this

So, the factory shafts i had in mind were never coming close to fitting..

Now the hunt begins to find a shaft with the right length / splines, or cost for a manufactured set $$$

    Cut/sleeve/weld?
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

Give Dennis from indrotech in Hallam a call. They are doing a killer 1200hp two piece tailshaft for me with triple 1350 unis, monster centre bearing and slip joint at the rear. They specialise in driveshafts/fans, all kinds of industrial spinning stuff. Very affordable and very knowledgeable
