    Mk6 Golf R high beam trigger?

    I'm spending a fair bit of time on the road between Syd & Cbr these days, a lot of that in the dark so i'm considering a small light bar.....one of these seems like a goer.

    The Golf has Bi-xenons which use D1S type bulbs;

    The light bar comes with a pre-fab harness which is super but they're designed for simple halogen setups that you can piggy back into to get the high beam trigger. How the hell does that work with a bi-xenon setup? I'll admit i've only had a really quick look at the back of the headlight.....couldn't see any wiring at all. I imagine it is way more complex than it needs to be.

    I used a Narva Add-a-circuit fuse off the high beam fuse on the Challenger, no more messing around with wire taps or any of that shit. Should be able to do the same with the VW.

    Based on my initial lookings, there is no high beam fuse. Seems the lighting is managed by a separate BCM. Nice and simple.

    I think it's pin 11 on either 14 pin headlight connector. It activates the bi-xenon shutter.
