    Bosch 1000cc (FG Injectors)

Does anybody know why the Bosch 0280158040 injectors can be found with red/yellow/blue dots on them? What do they signify?

Also wondering why some of them come in multicone spray pattern, while others come in single cone (yet share the same part number)?

Anybody know what trade price is for these?

Tried to call bosch australia, as per fucking usual no cunt has a telephone number on their website anymore.

Lot of them are remanafuctured original style injector. Some say this creates issues. As they can dribble or have other problems

There are about a hundred factory's in China reproducing Bosch's catalog so its kinda hard to gauge what's what when it comes to their frequently used parts in aftermarket applications.
I'm sure plenty of people here have Chinese made injectors and pumps who think they are legit.

well i guess it begs the question, who can i buy from that guarantee's they have legit bosch parts?

Or do you mean all these factories in china are making legit bosch parts, just for bosch though?

thats the exact injector im talking about in this thread. it's a 3/4 length 040 extended tip but the 1150cc is a single tip that has been drilled. i'd prefer the multi-cone spray pattern for my application.

at a guess, they differentiate batches for the factory,or they share a characteristic within a tolerance band either for:

    flow
    coil resistance
    dead time

regardless of which characteristic it is, I would want all injectors in the engine to have the same colour code.

if you can get away with the flow limit, the 980cc bosch long nose are very good as they have an atomizing plate giving much better idle/low load AFRs

the drilled 1150 (same injector with diffuser plate removed) and 1650 (single nozzle) are a bit shit at idle by comparison. but if you need the extra flow, then so be it.

I've also had a really poor experience with the "1000cc" raceworks, the supplied injector data was wrong, low pulsewidth response was terrible etc. When I followed up with raceworks with my findings and data they went back to their supplier who didn't actually have any data from the injectors and were only able to advise what the base bosch injector was they modify.

Replaced that set with some deatschwerks 1000cc which have been perfect
