Well it's definitely not a Muira, 250GTO or E type in terms of "beauty" but I do like the fact that it's a little different. I guess that might be a better way of putting it

Saw that. Had a chuckle. Whilst everybody else was carrying on about someone rebadging the Astra someone has just gone in and secured the rights to the car. And as you said Dane wouldnít play it that way.

Latest rumour is a Blancpain Asia campaign for 888.

I mean if he was going down that road, he'd make sure he had the exclusive rights to them here.

Yup.. Do it their way right from the beginning.. Would be like them not building their own supercars chassis/gear and buying off walkinshaw instead....

Indeed. Thatís why I laughed when I heard the news of the Opel rights being picked up by someone else-there goes any chance of the rumoured rebadged Astras for 888.

Did they remove the driveshafts in the WRX to allow it in TCR?

i thought i read somewhere Toyota was building a corolla but then i might have confused that with something else.

Impreza uses a modified Hollinger sequential box that is FWD only.

Toyota TCR car was just a mock-up by Yokohama.

Didnít think the Kellyís would get involved but great to see another Supercar team involved and itís probably an easy money spinner for them. The Opels are good cars but the Subarus are one of the less successful TCR cars so hopefully the Scooby has gotten some updates in the off season.

If there is some dollars to be made they would get involved.

Same as any of the teams. If they have any capacity to do so and can make a dollar they will.

I'm surprised Triple 8 haven't jumped in yet, but the engineering side of their operation might be keeping them busy enough, along with the dabbles in GT racing.

They are already balls deep into the billionaire dollars of the royal family kid who essentially bought their entire team just to put his seat into for Asia GT.

Scooby was quick when the right driver was in it. Ran top 5 both races at Imola in TCR Italy, and that's a fucking competitive field.

Molly Taylor is still trying to stitch a deal together to run one. Hopefully the Kellys can facilitate.

Owning a WRX STi and browsing the various Subaru forums and FB pages.. they think cos it has AWD makes them the next lewis Hamilton.. it still wouldnt help them since they're just shit drivers...

Overnight, TCRUK and the breakaway series that was created because one driver had a cry, have now united in holy matrimony just a week out from the season start.

Touring Car Times on the web.

TCR Guru on the book of faces.

Most of the TCR-owned sites are pretty up to date with the news as well.

Havenít heard of TCR Guru so thatís one I should check out.

Great to hear today that Chris Pither has a ride in one of the GRM cars. Good addition to the grid.
