    Rally memorabilia, Elanora Qld.

My folks got home from Christmas lunch today to find that they’d been robbed, took dads collection of Monte Carlo rally winning die cast cars, Round Australia trial medallion, Halda Speedpilot, and Halda Twinmaster, various jewellery, iPads etc, and very distinctively a Monte Carlo Rallye bag that is only given out to competitors, which he only got given this morning. Fuckers.

Long shot, but if anyone sees anything come up in the area, let me know.

A lot of this will have a small market though. Presumed you put this up all over Facebook by now? Rally folk are the ultimate trainspotters

I don't get it. Steal money or wallet, but that's like stealing the Mona Lisa and putting it on Gumtree.

    Fuckwits.

Hopefully they will struggle to sell the Halda's and get caught.

Sorry to hear, fucking low act. Stevie is right though rally folk will see that stuff from a non rally person as a red flag.

If i see anything like that stuff for sale I'll be in touch..

Do the rounds of the pawn shops. May not get cashed in straight away , but high chance it'll go there. Dont just hit up the large brokers , find the smaller guys. Make sure cops know, and keep visiting them ( brokers ) every few days.

Small shop pawn brokers dont give much of a shit if they buy stolen goods , the law covers them.

I have let others in the Gold Coast rally community know and will keep an eye out also, curious who is your Dad? Low act ... perhaps try also posting into the Rally and Race Sales Australia FB pages.
