Aftermarket Door Control Receiver compatible with factory Toyota key (with buttons)

    Hey guys,

I have 4 cars, all with central locking, but would like to add remote central to them.

I'd like to use a stock Toyota keys with buttons inbuilt to avoid bulk on the keyring.

Are there any aftermarket receivers that can accept / learn factory keys that won't break the bank. Only need a negative trigger for the lock and unlock lines on the central.

what frequency do the toyota keys operate at?

google says japanese stuff is 433.92mhz. but you need to know what the encoding is.. EV1527,PT2262, HT6P20B, HCS301, T301A, T301E, HT6P20B, HCS301, T301A, E301E etc.

im not sure if these units can only "learn" a certain code within an encoding type, or if they will learn whatever you send it, despite the encoding.

    sooooo start here.
