    Supra Torsen Center - What Oil?

    What oil should i be using for the Supra Torsen Center.
    Im assuming it make no difference that its in a solid axle as apposed to an IRS?

    Torsen is just gears so normal 80w gear oil

    When I bought my T2 new I asked torsen themselves (over email and at SEMA) and they gave no fuck for oil. “Just use whatever the gear manufacturer wants” was what they said. So I use oil as per above. Nothing with slip modifiers

    Yep not a clutch plate LSD so doesn't need LSD oil.
    If track Redline LWS.

    oils with LSD additive will lessen torque biasing and make them a little less grabby but hardly noticeable.

    Good quality synthetic GL5 is what is TruTrac and Mazda normally recommend for their Torsens.
