WTB: Old school Merc parts - helping out a mate overseas

Lads, trying to help out an old family friend overseas who's restoring his 1970 240D W115.

He's searching around for the following parts:

    • Lower molding for rear windshield.
    • Front grill emblem
    • The seals but if they are selling the complete vent windows then
    • The glass should be green tinted.
    • The side vents for the front doors.

Wondering if any of you fine folk could point me in the right direction to a source please?

Theres a place in coburg or some thing MB spares IIRC.

If you are in Brisbane, get on the ozbenz forum and pm Mercmad (Ron). If he can't help you, he'll know who can. I had his number but can't locate it right now..

I have a name, but will get a number of a guy in Horsham that has several hundred old Merc's. Not sure what models he has yet.

has he been to an M-B dealer? I bought a grille badge, interior locks, for a W114 coupe and they were reasonably priced (and available) they have parts for every car through MB Classic available at dealers (some are crazy expensive, and some are cheap - bit run of the mill, like a W116 complete taillight last time i checked was only $400 brand new)
