    Deforming steel bar/plate

    Thread update

    Fence is in. The installed height varied from about 900-1250 of cantilever due to the slope in the block of land.

    It is certainly more bendy than I expected. It probably bends 30-40mm when a reasonable force is applied, but doesnít deform. Havenít had a very windy day yet but it doesnít seem to move in the wind either

    When I bought a test piece it appeared to be very stiff but that was without casting it into the ground to fix one end in place.

    In the 1-2 weeks it has been in place no one has used it as a xylophone. Win!
