Are any aftermarket alternatives for LS2 (D585) coils any good?

Looking at running the LS2 coils on the MX5 rather than Toyota COPs, but most replacement sets come in packs of 8, or are exceedingly expensive.

Most of the aftermarket Toyota COPs are terrible, is that still the same for LS2 coils? Are any of the aftermarket ones decent?

Missed Dogballs set, but saw Golebys have a set of 4 new ones. Sounds too cheap to be OEM though: https://www.golebysparts.com.au/part...inder-set-of-4

    Anyone used them?

D585s are too great a risk. due to the auto-fire when primary current gets to 8amps.

use literally anything else with a fine tipped iridium plug and you'll do 200kw+ no problems.
