    Manual valve bodies

    Anyone been knocked back for a manualized auto? WA.

    The box is entirely legal, shifter may not be.

    You’d need a neutral safety switch and probably a backlit gear indicator.

    When I got my car engineered in NSW it had to have safety switch and some form of lighting showing what gear it was in. Was a Pro Ratchet.

    Yeah ok. What did you use for lighting? I was thinking of drilling little holes in the top and sticking the sticker over them to light them up a little.

    I sticky taped a dodgy little 12v light over it. Took it off after engineering, but I very rarely drove the car at night.

    Maybe grab yourself a 5mm white LED and resistor, then just tape it on as per Blackbart's suggestion?
    I ran a pro ratchet with no indicator, light or sticker for about 8 years. Defected a number of times but not for that!
