    And the belts done.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

And fuel pump and ignition relays, apparently they eat them and best practice is to replace them at every major service. Not a biggie at all as they're only around $10 each, just good insurance.

Why do I know this? Because I went googling after thinking....."maybe I'd like a Ducati for a while".

They tend to be cheap to maintain when they are sitting in the lounge room.

FWIW my 848 has been cheap as to own. Get one of the independant guys to do the belts and just service like any other bike. These things are very reliable.

$8600 (exactly half what I paid)

If it doesn’t sell, I’ll put some tyres and a battery in it and gumtree it

I paid 9 on an eBay auction, it had everything done and shit. Yours should easily get 9. Wouldn't bother with tyres, just get a battery.
