Runs awesome. Like new. Honestly a little disappointed that the tune didn't bring a lot more out of it, my 'roughie' must have been fairly close to the mark. A bit flatter down low but the rush between 4000-7500 is brilliant.
They didn't have a boost gauge on it or a readout for the MAP sensor so boost is anyone's guess. Would be safe to say that boost is only 4-5psi. The lack of obvious fknwhoosh noises confirms this. If I get the time I'll stick a boost gauge on it this weekend. I may have one lying around somewhere?
Have those WRX injectors now (thanks mate) so just a matter of fuel pump & regulator and should be good for another 40rwhp.Originally posted by 350stato100% agree with Shifty

Before we go talking about anything else, it needs more boost.
Excuse the quality, but I just did up these graphs to overlay stock torque vs new torque, and stock power vs new power. Gives you a good idea of the change.

True true. When funds are more free I'll get you to do another helmet mate.
Just picked up the fittings etc for the boost gauge (which is the reason I hadn't fitted it yet) so assuming I can (a) find the gauge and (b) get the time I'll soon know how much boost it's running.Originally posted by 350stato100% agree with Shifty

This needs a test run up to Noosa. Bring Az as your wingman so he can deliver his throttle body to me.

[grinning like an idiot] I rode this today [/grinning like an idiot]
ok... it was after a pipe blew off, so it was running no boost - but still made me smile.
mind you, I was on this for about 7 seconds before Shifty blew past me on the back wheel of my SV...

Where's the throttle body muthafucka? Surely Shifty could have wheelstanded to Noosa and dropped that shit off.
How much boost is it running to blow hoses off? You twitched in a bleed valve didn't you Az? :rotflol:David Fraser - Automotive Historian!

nah it's running fark all boost. i put a gauge on it but it's obviously wrong as it's only showing 2.5psi
i have another gauge, just gotta go over to the other side of town to pick it up
oh and not sure on the hose off thing, maybe one wasn't quite seated right - i haven't even looked yetOriginally posted by 350stato100% agree with Shifty

Found the boost leak issue, looks like all my clamps have worked themselves loose. Have cranked them up again (so tight that I smashed one and had to replace it) so I'll see how that goes. If they still move then I'll hit them with some soft loctite.
Fitted the matching rear indicators, only took me 8 months after fitting the fronts.
Put the other gauge on and it is COMPLETELY borked, it sits on 50psi even at idle. Will get another one at autobarn (etc) at some stage soon. Just annoying as I'm not planning to ahve it fitted permanently, and I already have two boost gauges, they just don't fricken work.
