Looks a bit tight on ground clearance. Needs more bash plate ahahah.

                Scraped cornering.

Ground clearance is excellent - basically the same as stock.

I was just a bit lazy.

Finally got another boost gauge on it yesterday. It is definitely only running 2psi (!!) so the jump from 95->140rwhp is crazy. Being fair it's way too lean on full noise at 12.2:1 (probably not unsafe at such a low boost level but I'd rather not find out).

Will do some fuel system shyte and put some more boost in it soon.

Did you get those 440cc injectors? I got a set off rexnet.
Is the actuator really soft or is it just not able to spin the turbo up?

I don't know shit from chocolate- but I recon 12.2 is fine for a bike.

it's not pushing a lot of load, and you're never on it for a long period of time.

keep an eye on the temperature and that will tell you if it's too lean.

                            Holy fucken suck me sideways!!!!!

Did some tinkering.. adjusted the wastegate actuator by a few mm and put a restrictor in the reference line... fark me drunk it goes. Spins up to about 8psi I think (hard to see when boost gauge hits you in the face), would spin to 15+psi no problems if the motor/fuelling/cooling could handle it. It is absolutely bullshit. BULLSHIT.

Just rolling on gently it comes up hard in first... and second... and is flighty in third. Having just ridden it I'm 200% confident the bike will run a nine and 140 with traction/wheelstands sorted. It will probably run 11.5@130-odd at the moment, it's fucking crazy to ride. Now it's running some boost I'm confident this turbo is absolutely perfect for it, and honestly Al I reckon you've nailed all the fabrication stuff as response is spot on. Only thing I'll bring up one day is the intake pipe, which is a touch short in the centre 's' bend now that everything is torqued right up.

I fattened it right up all over and especially at higher boost figures. Az, I'd agree on the AFR normally... but being stock compression, no intercooler, stock pistons, and 40% more revs than the bike would normally be subjected to in normal use, I'd rather be safe than sorry! I want it to be 11.5-11.9 at its leanest, unless it absolutely kills power. These things don't run a temperature gauge, the only temp-related thing is a thermo that comes on when oil temp reaches 120 C.

Al, I've got those WRX injectors you hooked up for me, cheers. I'll organise a quality FPR and probably a Walbro 255 or something when the bank recovers.... I'll get that together & put it on the wideband and see what I can do with it. If it comes up ok I'll leave it at that, if I'm not happy with it I'll take it back to LAE for some more ass-raping. I mean, fine tuning. Alex did a great job but his price went up twice from $480 on the initial quote to $600 when I dropped it off and $650 when I picked it up... to me that's a lot for something that was already running, sorted, and coming on boost.
