    Bike is finally home.

Did some tinkering and it all looks great so far. Very happy with the pipework & mounting and everything is prettymuch exactly as I'd asked Al to do it. Did a reasonable bit of reassembly last night; I can really only do the back of the bike at the minute as there are still a few things to do under the tank etc. Ducktail, taillight, ECU, etc all reinstalled and for the sake of the photos I put the side covers on and sat the seat loosely in place.

Looks brilliant & just how I'd hoped!

Got to work an hour ago and my VDO scavenge pump has finally arrived so I can set about installing & wiring that later in the week.

Getting towards the time where I have to make a proper list of what needs to be done before I ride it.

I also have an aftermarket undertail for it to get rid of that awful mudflap etc, but it's been a bit of a farkaround with ebay as I was sent the wrong one etc... so the bike will have to go back on the road with the stock one for a bit... not that it's really a problem having turbos and stuff

          Where would the dogbones go?
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

and i'm not really interested in lowering it, it's a streetbike not some wannabe dragbike. if i was doing a drag bike i'd have started with a busa

Jesus Horatio Christ, you let Shifty drive your supra? Haven't you heard?

Definitely going to the drags, that was never in question! just not a drag queen

I have a mate with a supra who ran 12s at 136mph so i'm hoping to be around there somewhere.

In seriousness i'd be happy with mid-low 10's and a little into the 130s, which along with being relatively unique is a full second and 10mph on a bike that was already heaps of fun.

doesn't sound 'fast' compared my the 12R or any of the recent litrebikes, but real world it'll be a crazy ride

barring any major issues it should be close to ready for first startup before new years.

Coming along nicely, I would have stayed in the garage last night until it was "a goer" but the sump plug is stripped so I'll have to take the sump off and get it repaired. While I'm at it I'll get a couple of threaded bosses welded on to mount the VDO pump properly.

Plenum cleaned up and fitted with new silicone hose & stainless clamps, ready for final assembly

All fitted, hopefully not coming off again any time soon!!

Turbo oil feed & return lines now finished. Stock oil cooler hoses have also been modified to clear new headers. VDO oil pump has been temporarily fitted to allow the oil lines to be made up, will be mounted more permanently to the side of the sump.

Finally fitted that set of low 758s I wanted!
