    Funny as.

Also... be aware the front suspension compresses yeah? Need to allow for that.

Funny you mention that Shifty. We had issues with the front guard hitting at full compression. Moved the intercooler to compensate and i have a full set of Ohlins suspension to go on as well. That should stiffen the front up substantially

Foamy has been putting some serious hours in on the build of late.

        Really starting to come together.

Starting to work through some of the supporting mods now.

Barnett clutch and HD springs installed
Light weight flywheel - Saves nearly 1kg over stock
          30% larger oil pump
Oil cooler fitted - Properly tight. 1mm between intercooler and 1mm between exhaust.
Sorted the fittings for the -10 oil drain on the turbo.

          Still need to do
          Weld fitting for oil drain
Make all the braided hoses for turbo feed, drain, oil cooler
          Fit GM Flex sensor
          Fit Mircrosquirt
Fit Ohlins forks and rear shock.

Did this ever end up being a thing?

I may or may not have just bought a cheap one of these to add to the toy collection.

At the MotoGP this year I went out for a few beers in downtown Austin and saw a fleet of modified Groms. I was amazed at what blokes were doing.. billet swingarms, Magnesium wheels, CR125R engine conversions, CRF250R engine conversions, Ohlins forks.. it was mental.

This would fit in well with that crowd.

I stuffed up drilling and tapping the clutch cover for the oil feed.

Dropped it off to the thread repair guy today.

                  Then just needs wiring.

Engine cover came back from the thread repair guy over the weekend. Made up the oil feed line.

A few more boring things to do like exhaust gaskets, Make spark plug lead and Microsquirt wiring and some painting.

A mate popped around to help out with the microsquirt wiring.

                      Nearly ready to start.

Not really stunting on this. Pop a few wheelies but not sitting at 12 o'clock for km's on end.
