OE indicators that aren't too bulky?

Hey guys I have a tail tidy on my bike, with aftermarket LED indicators. They're fucking shit. Really bright straight on but in sunlight or at an angle they're bordering on invisible.

Have seen some late model bikes with OEM indicators that aren't stupidly bulky 'generic black stalk with orange lense', just can't remember what.

Suggestions? Will have a cruise through a bike yard one day and see what's what but thought some okne might know offhand.

In particular I remember something that rather than a flat cut with the generic lenses on most bikes, had more of a 45deg cut on a short stubby mount the same basic size as the lens... again can't rememberremember what so random googling hasn't helped.

Also I notice that a lot.of newer indicators have moved away from the wiring-through-mounting-bolt setup, which I prefer to stay with because I only just got the bracket which suits this style.

If the rear indicators on my parts Daytona are not broken you can have them.
