right, got it back from having a wheel alignment. Paid my $20 and got a UVP. I was nervous as hell driving it, because what the UVP legally covers is very ambiuous, and the few cops I have asked have never even heard of a UVP, meaning if I got pulled over I'd be relying on them believing the paperwork.

It drove really well, though the gearbox is mushy and I nneed to fix an exhaust leak that has developed. Everything else is good! Drove great on the way back... fuck I got some looks

wheel alignment guy had a whinge because I had jammed the adjustable strut tops hard over to set the camber from "upright" to "aircraft wings" and it bent the needle on the wheel alignment machine, because it only measures to 3 degrees negative haha! They set it to 3 1/4 degrees neg which will do me fine to start with. I can see I'm going to have to invest in some aligning gear though.
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

It measures how damn hot your VN really is...

Measure tyre temp at the track, lean in more if the outside is hot, straighten up if the inside is hot, leave as is if it is even heat from side to side.

              ahh okay.

changing camber messes up the toe tho, cbf'd doing a full alignment at the track.

Was there a reason why the motor wasn't moved back further in the bay?
