Spoke to them, they said no worries, pull it out and exchange it. I pull it out yesterday arvo, then phone them today, and the phone is off the hook. I'm getting that sinking feeling.

Do you have an air compressor?
If so, go to super cheap, buy and air chisel for 20 bucks, and then strip all the sound deadening!
Worked wonders in the mazda. Didn't even use the dry ice (i hadn't heard of it as an option at the time)

Got after photos of the dry ice attempt? Does it strip paint with it?

yeah fuck that. I'd be more likely to chisel a hole in the floor.

Under the bucket is basically what it looks like once the tar has been bopped off. no damage to paint or metal except for what you do with hammer and chisel.

You still need to wipe the leftovers away with a petrol soaked rag though, but it's a much easier job all round!

                          So????

Surely you've been up to something on this. I assume, seeing tho I have the standard shifter, you have fitted the B & M?

Righto, shifter is in place, and cabled in. Now I need to find the position indicator (it's missing) and some way of mounting the inhibitor switch.
