Summit online are as convenient as anyone for rod ends.

For a simple wishbone layout and geometry have a look at MX5's or C5 Corvette for ideas.

Been a bit busy with other stuff but have managed to sneek out after the kids were in bed a few nights and make a start.

Have pulled the engine from the camry and started to strip the back of charade. Now the engine is out it looks fucking enormous. Bit worried about clearance on the right hand side of the engine where the pulleys are.... that might limit any options for suspension changes at the back. Maybe when the A/C compressor, power steering pump and steering rack disappear it won't look so bad.

Anyway have started to take some measurements and will throw it all into autocad and see what the options are.

It'll look a lot smaller once all the superfluous shit is stripped off. They fit north/south in early Toyota's easy enough but still not a compact engine.

I've been plugging away at this in the evenings and have finally got the engine tacked into place. Fits like a tongue in a bum...

It's a shame you can't register something like this (assuming you do it properly of course)

If you did the required torsional and rigidity testing you might be able to pull it off. there is nothing that says you can't change the drive from one end to the other.

Should leave the power steering rack in it for lols so it turns like a forklift.

                            Fabric rollback sunroof?

To get the engine out i unbolt the subframe and strut tops, lift the shell up and roll the lot out. This will be how most major work on the engine will have to happen i think. Going to try and make it as easy as possible to disconnect stuff to do this.

Awesome project, if youre planning on running in some of the local sprint events you might come up against a little green suzuki hatch with a bike engine (i think?) in teh back

sounds incredible and is pretty quick
