I was originally planning to make new rear suspension to replace the camry stuff but now I just want to get this going so might do it in the future if the current setup proves to be overly shit. Locking out the rack is just the easiest thing to get it working and I figure keeping the existing geometry will minimise the chances of bump steer issues...assuming lowering it hasnt already fucked things up.

I also would like to make new uprights for the rear as i cant fit the R33 skyline rotors and calipers i have because the uprights are just too chunky. Stuck using the original camry brakes for now.

The original fronts still wouldn't have been tiny though?

Haven't given up on this yet...

Finally did the last bits of the cage on the weekend and finished patching up the floorplan after major surgery to get the set to fit. Pretty happy with the results for my first cage.

                      Nice!
Any idea what the weight distribution is going to be?

Not really. A MR2 is apparently 40/60 so i assuming it will probably be around there.

Charade says "Make me some extractors you cheap bastard!".....and while your doing it you may as well bolt 2 turbos onto them.

One day it would be nice to put a 3.5 litre from an aurion in and bung a turbo on that... but I'm too busy with all my other little projects at the moment to seriously consider it now. However if you were to donate a 2GR and a big turbo to the cause I'm sure I could deliver a wheelie machine of death at some unspecified point in the distant future.
