Nice build! Cage looks hefty. I much prefer the bent side intrusion bars rather than cross over.

Not sure if you still can, but you could previously get the cage approved/stickered when it was built which then protected it from future rule changes for X amount of years.

Yeah, you can get the cage certified whilst the car is still getting built, once its certified, then you are good to go for the life of the car generally.

Only problem I have had is the time frames because of the time I have spent working in Indonesia and the time I have had back in Aus.

I also look to have done something else as well.

I am waiting to hear back on where to send my moneys for these.....


They should solve a lot of problems in making the doors neat for me.

And some more progress on the shell.

Brake lines done at the front, and the damper cartridges fitted up in the engine bay as well.







I should get to have a look at it in about 4 weeks when I am back in Brisbane for a few days.

Hopefully the storage problem is solved too

What shocks did you go for?

They are the BC external reservoir coil overs, but have been revalved, the springs replaced and basically rebuilt by some old bloke up the Sunshine coast as a favour to the guy who is setting the suspension up for me.

One advantage of being almost old and knowing a few people in the rally world from the mid to late 80's.

Yes....

Murray tweeked the coilovers, well rebuilt them, to suit the wheels, tyres, diff and expected ride heights.

This was done a few years ago now.
