No it is standard price for these things. My friend's Monaro is 50k paint. But I mean we are talking some quality shit. These would be like real show quality metal finished cars.

ok so I will now be updateing this pretty regularly.

I built this jig for my fabricator, we are jigging the front and rear suspension points as I will be reusing them in my 240z, for simplicity (lol) we are reusing the suspension arms and uprights etc from the R35, the front will get a new upright as the standard one is weird and is so tall it goes over the front wheel, I will scan and probe the points and design a lower to A arm and a new upright, I have fucked with this a little already and approximating the geometry as it is now is not hard. I don't want to complicate this build by designing this suspension from the ground up.

I will start posting all the parts but this is where we are today. next week we will dummy up the motor, samsonas box, transfer case, quick change rear and and seat and see where the main hoop can sit. I am trying to get the A pillar bar 100mm from my head so I can weld them in and get road rego with it, I am 6'3" so it is not so simple.

Haysoos, what is going on here? These pro body shops are taking the piss, making out that to look good you have to spend silly. We did my first S30 with acrylic and it turned out great. Of course preparation is everything but acrylic is sooo last century and there is not enough profit in it.

I'm not going to go back and read all this shit but what I will say is that any late V6 Nissan donk is a great choice for a S30, particularly with the engine back against the fire wall 45/55 weight distribution is where it should be for any performance car. Is this going to be circuit raced, hope it not's just another dyno queen.
