        just be careful doing that shit on some motors.

        sometimes it works too good. dislodges all the carbonised shit and takes it back to the sump, then lodges in the oil pickup and starves motor of precious dies..i mean oil.

          I've done it to heaps of motors and never had an issue.

          If that much shit breaks off and clogs the pickup, then it was fucked anyway.

            seen some hyundai excel's and 3s/5s toyotas that have done it. yes they were blatantly mistreated, but had the owners/mechanics pulled the sump and rocker covers off and cleaned the shit off properly, im sure the engines would have lasted.

              The worst one I saw was a Diahatsu Applause that hadn't been serviced for 80'000 km and had about 5 psi of oil pressure.

              We ran the above mentioned flush but the shit was caked on 25mm thick, so it was fucked anyway.
