This is what the ECU is for! Going from your shopping spree, I should have charged you more!

It didn't really click when we were talking on the phone about Mercs. I approve.

Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

Yeah. I bought them ages ago. What size would you recommend? I'll go and pick up some others.

Yep. It better be up to the job!

        You'll probably want 32NB elbows.

I took a coupld of quick measurements last night. The exhaust housing inlet is 40mm. The exhaust port on the flange is about 32mm x 50mm. So I was thinking that some 40NB elbows would do the job relatively simply without being too big?

using some string, roughly measure the ID of the exhaust port, and see if thats the same as the ID of a 40NB elbow..

you can belt a 40NB flat and roughly into the required oval shape if it's close.

              I think you mean circumference.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

                  How's this going?

I have a heap of torch cups and collets you can have. New Tig has a binzel torch so is all different.

Does buying more shit count as progress?

I picked up some bits for the welding torch, but extra bits are always handy

I'm about to be away for work for the next 4 weeks so I won't have much of a chance to do anything. Good news is most of the house jobs are coming to an end so once I get back I'll be able to get stuck into the car.

                      Ok, CNC sexy time

More shit to sit on the shelves of speed for a bit courtesy of Summit Racing

Gotta keep all of that E85 flowing around clean of nasties

And to make sure the injectors are supplied clean fuel at the right pressure

Don't want to unduly stress the compressor wheels on gear changes either

To free up a lot of space and reduce quite a bit of weight, I'll be removing all of the current HVAC equipment and replacing with this simple combined heater box and fan. Summer ain't gonna be much fun....

There's also a set of head studs to (hopefully) help keep all that delicious combustion pressure inside the engine.

I also got another box of replacement parts. Amongst this batch are such items as larger brake booster and amster cylinder (to match the upgraded calipers), caliper rebuild kits, wheel bearings blah blah blah. I got a bit carried away with this order though and made my payment before realising I'd gone over $1k so I got stung a bit on GST and duty when it arrived.

                        This needs some progress.

                            Plans for turbo mounting?
One turbo in each hand, Nopics with camera asking wtf you are taking pics of nothing for, hold turbos in approximate spots, take pics, study engine bay shot.
It works. Corporate fags call it visualising.

Most overrated and underprogressed project on PF.

Plans for turbo mounting are to make the logs, fit to engine. Mount engine in car, position turbos, cut holes, mount turbos swear and curse about dump pipe fitment, pull engine out. Rinse. Repeat.

I still need a gas bottle. Places were all shut last week and I'm back at work this week farken. Might have to get my TA (dad) to do some more running around for me.....

Oh and my gearbox is still sitting in a transport depot in America, 9 weeks after it was dropped off. I've been to America and back in that time!

                              I'm a corporate fag.
