Fabrication IS therapy for Al, Clayton. He's just trying to gee you up to do some Occupational Therapy of your own.

I have a tig welder, a full E bottle and new helmet. I have no skills, but I'm happy to practice on your car for free.

            Fabrication is therapy for men.

May I suggest you fit the engine to the car first and then make the manifolds.

And use Aarons gas bottle, I think he embezzled it from his company so it is free.

How big are the turbos? Have you pulled them apart and measured? You should do this for curiosity sake(mine).

I have very little flexibility in my proposed design of the manifold other than how far the log is from the head. I figured that if I make them no further out than the standard manifold, I should be good, then I can muck around with turbo placement. But I haven't started yet and you've done this plenty of times, so I'm willing to listen to your advice

I should probably get my own bottle.

What measurements are you particularly interested in? I've got to pull them apart to rotate the housings anyway. Supposedly they are good for ~450hp @15psi on a 3.6L engine.

                .
nope. I saw fabrication in my future, so invested cold hard in a bottle.

work paid a $hunj of the rental and full bottle, cause I welded up that battery tray I talked to you about ages ago from 50mm SS angle.

Figured if I'm welding manifolds and shit, I should be using my gas, not yours.

PS. feel free to use my bottle anyway, it's argon.

where would one get a bottle filled? my old man has one lying around.

apparently 'the usual suspects' won't fill bottles that aren't rentals

Yeah, it was either that and continue to have money for the project, even in smaller amounts, or get a divorce and have no money for anything.
