Must be handy to be able to change valves by whacking your fist down the ports,.
We ain't done there yet - waiting on some (much) bigger valves, then we'll see just how much the sucker can flow.

Here's a rough sketch of the plenum I'm planning.

I'm thinking of trying to get the main body of the plenum bent up out of 5mm plate to reduce the chance of it rupturing at 40+psi boost. (been there, ruptured that before obviously.....)

Port angle is 34 degrees, but due to clearance issues around the cowl panel I'll probably only be able to get the runners on a 30 deg angle.

Runners will be 54mm ID, and plenum volume approx 12-13L.

Adjustable cam gears for 1FZ-FE now ready for sale - 10 degrees advance/10 degrees retard. Suitable for all variants of 1FZ-FE.

(adjustable scissor gear for changing separation angle between the intake and exhaust cams coming soon)

International sales welcome - PM me for pricing.

going to reduce the plenum vol;ume away from the throttlebody?

can't flush mount the bellmouths? i'd aim for more of a parabolic/elliptical taper, but that might just be a limitation of autocad.

i'm guessing the manifold will be braced, will be a bit of a heavy bitch with 5mm alloy

surely a properly welded plenum of 4-5mm alloy would be able to contain upwards of 100psi pressure? or is the issue pressure waves adding in phase and shock loading the walls?

I am in the process of making similar for mine-

it will have 3mm alloy rods welded between the top and bottom surfaces to stop it blowing apart...and only ~ 8psi to contend with, should end up similar to this

It can only run in the Extreme Class. (As it did at Compact Attack in May 2006)
The engine (at 4.5L) is too large for all the other classes (6cyl maximum capacity = 4.1L)
