Yeh ofcourse it has to do with temp of oil..

Are you using a good synthetic oil...

The oil inside the converter can be 6x that in the pan so in actually fact the converter oil could be as high as 6-700 degrees.

make sure you got either -8 braide to your oil cooler and a decent size one up front..

I have an oil cooler up front, with -6 Braided line running to it, and I am running Castrol TQ Dexron III....it doesn't actually says its Synthetic on Castrol's website so it might be time for a change? They have the Transmax Z thats fully synthetic, might look into that?

im running transmax in the Vt dude,

it still takes longer to get up when it is hot, but it still goes up to what ever i have the boost set on at the time,
our converter is a 5800rpm tho

All this info is good, however, is it possible for the change in oil to be the solution to the problem?

If it is a trans heat issue then going synthetic could possibly cure the problem. At the very least you should have a more stable trans fluid for the heat demands you are putting through it.

I provided all the required specs and the bloke who built the box matched it up...so I didn't have much to do with it unfortunately.

Car was tuned yesterday, turned the boost up to 22psi and it made 280rwhp. Also fitted up the 50 shot and my previous transbrake issues do not exist anymore :D Fitted some Convo Pro front runners, and getting ready for Powercruise this weekend. Shitty phone pic...
