Not sure on the boxes, I don't think so though. Pretty sure a gearbox wrecker bought every box he had, about 3000 of them. You know you want a few RB20's.

No idea on specifics, they are good usable engines afaik, no ancillaries like starter, alt or ps pump. Some have looms and he may have some ecus floating around. He's got 10.

Got a bit done this weekend. Took a trailer load of welders and shiz home so I had to do something.
Finished the dump pipe. Still have to do the wastegate return but didn't have any 2" with me. Slipped a heat sock over the dump also.
Moved on to the fuel system then. Had to mount two fuel pumps, make a surge tank and run a new steel line to the engine. The fuel tank only has one outlet which is now a return from the surge tank/engine so I had to tap a new fuel feed to the lift pump. The tank has an enormous drain bung so I pulled it out(draining the tank and removing the nuts, bolts, necklaces and other random shiz that had managed to get into the tank in 40 years) and drilled and tapped it for a 1/4 BSP fitting.
Made a surge tank from alloy box. It's not your std barrell screwed in the boot floor as I mounted it under the car. The 044 is mounted on rubber insulation blocks to keep the racket down. The 070 prime pump is solid mounted with an insulation sheath to shut it up.
Have to vacuum test the tank before fitting it permanently.
I also mounted the battery box and ran the cabling for it. I ran it alongside the new fuel pipe for convenience sake.
Engine bay pic with the sprayed inner guards and firewall and the front refitted.

Black guards and firewall look good. Have you thought of running the booster line behind the head? What about a 90 welded elbow on the top radiator hose outlet so the top hose is less obvious. Would neaten up the bay heaps with those two mods.
I'm not really looking for a show engine bay, just neat and functional. There will be shiteloads of crap everywhere once the wiring for the engine goes in and the rest of it is plumbed.
