    excellent :D

do you have Steve Shipway's details? aka crownman? He's been down this road a few times.
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

Hey Al, had a chance to try out the steering box yet?

Looking forward to getting down there and playing with this thing - assuming I can get away.

Steering box will bolt up fine but need a column from an MS65 according to Toymodders. Rastas got any old Crowns up there? Coming up monday so might be able to get some bits whilst there.

I approve of this conversion wholeheartedly. I reckon those moon caps with outer rings on the middle ute in the above shot are the shizzle my nizzle.

Agreed, looks like an old valiant ute, only betterer.

The black parts of the wheel centre between the chrome trim rings, are they another wheel trim or a smoothie style aftermarket wheel with trims attached? I've got an old 5 series that I was thinking about turning into a half arsed rod project and want wheels like this.

its just a steel rim the centres are painted and the outer rim polished , hubcap bashed on top .dont know it'll look that good on a bm 5 series suits 60's look or earlier
