      Did you remember to seal the rocker pedestal bolts? They were tapped into the water gallery and also have inserts to turn them into 3/8 from 7/16..

      Looking good though. How painful is it to work in a clean engine bay- rattle black FTW :D

        I did, I bolted half of them in, then realised, then I realised I couldn't find my thread sealer and had to drive to supercrap.

        On a positive note, I got a kick arse impact socket set for 35 bucks, down from 100.

        Clean engine bay is driving me a bit batty Drilling the holes for the catch can had me shitting bricks.

          Yea agree about the fistings, I drew my plan out, wrote all the part numbers down, did a schmatic, found some errors, amended it, bought a bunch of stuff, went back the next day, exchanged some parts, fitted them, went back again.

          I'm sure I won't be the first or the last, they are just to damm expensive to be able to buy 2 or 3 of everything and have it work straight away.

            I bought a whole bunch of stuff ages ago, made some assumptions about straights and 90 degree fittings, I have lots of left over straight fittings.

            hardline = win for price.

            edit: just did another summit order, so much buttrape (in a bad way)

                  Millsi, 1200x1800. One thing to keep in mind is that the fuckers use 30 dollar -12 o-ring fittings, rather than the 7 buck ones. So it ends up being a 300 buck exercise for the catch can.

                  A JNT or Miller chassis one would be cheaper, I did get mine on frequent flyer points though :p

                          Is that black ceramic on the dump pipe? Might have fun with the strut tower paint otherwise... Looks good!
                          "Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."
