It's held in by a few bolts to finish the fab. Turbo and dump will be getting HPC'ed once everything is ready for final fit-up.

It is an e85 blow through carb, but they need some mods to get them working spot on, first one is extending the fuel bowl vents up into the hat, the other is boost referencing the power valve.

What if you just run a pv that opens at very low vacuum so it opens just before boost? As you said e85 has a fairly wide tuning range and it seems like this is what a lot of the yanks do, and they like carbies...

I want it ready for the Easter APSA shootout at Willowbank, although I want some 'test' time before that. It would be great to have some kind of engine start before christmas.

It will still dump too much fuel in, too early. There are ways of bodging up the powervalve, but the fast carb guys are switching to an externally triggered power-valve, as all the bodged up ones have issues with going way rich on big load. Mine doesn't have any kind of boost referenced power valve, so I have to do something. Some use an air pump, which turns on at 3psi, which works, but just seems a bit shit to me. So i will open at solenoid at 3 psi, using a fogger nozzle/s.

So you don't like the idea of boost referencing from the vent tube or is it still unreliable? Been reading about a 500" caddy with single PT92 and it runs this setup.

I just like the idea of the carb doing all the thinking without any add ons, makes it more of a proper knuckle dragging dark ages setup and less Electro Fagnetic Injection
