Was at my uncle's place today, he still has a huge photo of Brocky leaning on the front of his old VK Group 3 doing the "im brocky and im fucking cool pose", in his study and fuck it looks good (was a pic from a photoshoot in New Idea mag back in 1985) and that same car which he sold for $27,000 years ago would have to be nudging, what $80k now? (genuine "this was Peter's personal car when they used to be in Bertie St, with photos and docs to prove)

The P plater thing should die cause the side mouldings are not reproduced afaik and the wreckers want mega bucks for them.

The HDT ones that were all white were pox too. The VL got a different white I think and it is much better for colour coded bumpers.

Yeah ive got a fully white vl (alpine white) and it looks fucking cool.

VK was a more briliant white, vl is a more darker white i think.

Are you talking about the lower calais moulds? Are they the same as VL calais?

yeah, on the doors, can't remember what they are like though. They are a beautiful shade of purple :p

Yeah the Vk's were 1j049 or something which is Heron White which is actually heron beige. The later ones were alpine whit which was stolen from toyota super white II 040 I think.

I'll look it up tomorrow but from memory the early colour has ochre and translucent green and the later one has a drop of blue and black which makes it charp as.
