Hope your loved ones got you EFI for Christmas, and may you have a trouble free tuning new year.

Finished the dump today, was a bit cunty to work around given the awkwardness of the big pipe. Once it is coated I will chuck some nutserts in it, and make a little rubber mount to hold the back of it up, needs to be removable to avoid gigantic hole in body to remove and refit pipe. Will also chuck some m10 bolts in for andra shit.

Welds are ok but too much heat, dial it back a bit or move a lot faster.

I admire the fact that the three most important items on the workbench have clear access to them.

                1. The can of JD.
                2. The vice.
                3. The pipe.

                That's how I spell perfessionalism.

Most of it was at about 80 amps max on the pedal, i was finding that i was getting pin holes if i moved to quickly, so i slowed right down

                  Any ideas

got home from a few days at the deliverance caravan park, did a few hours work, mounted the other gate and made some screamers

Most of the fab is done now, turbo system is out of car to finish it up ready for final install.

Q: will glass wrap be enough to stop the dump frying up the paint? I was going to coat the dump and install acl heat shield, but the dump would sit on it, which kind of defeats the purpose and melt the paint anyway. Keen not to destroy the paint.

80A is too much for 1.6mm. 50max on pulse, 40 without. I would not bother using the pedal on ferrous metal, it doesn't require the control that alloy does.

decided what youre doing about boost fueling yet?

                          Comment

yep, powervalves blocked off, 10 jets higher in the secondaries, plus a nos fuel nozzle connected to a solenoid that gives extra fuelling on boost, solenoid will be triggered by the eboost. Will run well on the rich side, pouring fuel in, job done
