What is the best option for getting rid of Power and AC and low mounting the altenator on the accessory drive?

I want to low mount the Alt on the RHS. Can make stuff if required but want to know if there is a simple solution.

you can get a power steering delete bracket, that is what I have with a shorter belt. Second option is to remove steer and a/c and wrap around with alot shorter belt.

Alt on the lower passenger side is standard location in commodore

cheers, really want alternator on lower RHS (drivers side) due to having the turbo on the LHS of the car. Can possibly use bracket from Aircon and repurpose.

If you decide to keep the alt on the left, you can run a second ribbed idler where the smooth idler sits and run a belt that loops around the lot. Worked well on my LS1.

Other thing you can do on the left for a bit more space is ditch the bracket and bolt alt straight to the block, use a 3pk belt and run it on the AC groove of the balancer. No idler just get a belt the right length. Works ok for skid car so probably ok for racecar

Not of the belt bit, I get that, of how you bolted it

Just use standard bracket with no tensioner, perfect length belt. As you tighten bolts it tensions up
