      in good news, the 330mm brakes fit under the convos by 1mm

      In further bad news, the engine and gearbox are coming out, going to pretty up the engine bay. Might stick some cometics and head studs on the engine while I am in there.

          just found a similar combo (308, s400) that made 1020hp at 25psi and ran high nines at 15psi, biggest difference is the fuel.

          It didn't seem to have too much trouble spooling, gold q in this vid: http://www.fullboost.com.au/video.php?id=534

          in shitty news, it sounds like the a1000 may peak out at about 650-700hp with e85 Might be best to go belt drive if I want to take it further.

                You could have put an Adaptronic(or a dozen other capable ecu's) on this with Indy's and a couple of 044's by now.

                  haha, carbs making people angry My carb cost less than what a tuner would charge to tune a computer, from what I can tell the carbies don't need much fiddling to get right.

                  I don't think two 044's would give me much more headroom than 1 a1000, in a petrol setup my pump would be good for up to about 1100hp in a blow through setup, according to aeromotive, compared to two 044s which would be good for 1200-1300. The reports over the change in fuel requirement seem to be anywhere between 35 and 50% more. It might be worth adding an extra 044 into the mix but then I might be maxing out the reg and the -10 lines. Will just have to wait and see???

                    Run it, keep an eye on fuel pressure as you up the boost - if it starts to drop even a tad you need more pump.
                    You'll probably blow the 308 apart before you top 700hp, so I wouldn't get too fussy for now.

                      This car runs 9's, the turbo is hidden under the guard i beleive, and the intake plumbing runs INSIDE the factory airbox.

                          I am going to stick a set of 7/16 head studs and cometics so it will be interesting to see just what it holds, my prediction is that it will crack a ring land first. I wasn't going to worry about the pump for now. I will be able to see on the logger the second the fuel pressure isn't keeping up with the boost.

                              i dont know how lax other states are for capacity and FI, but by the prickroads guidlines i technically cant even do a FI 308 in my kingswood, let alone a lightweight crummydore.
