EVO block - crank, flywheel, pressure plate, rods, pistons and rings, crank pulley full bottom end balance of rotating assembly to 0.01g, acid dip and surface grind bored 20 thou over, cracktested and micropolished and linished crank.

Hasn't run on the dyno at hi boost (approx 1.7 bar)

I have only driven it on low boost. Is a bit on the laggy side not making boost until 4200rpm
It really gets going by 5500, and stays strong til redline - 8750rpm

its tuned for 27 psi.. i thinking i might need some better fuel to run more though.

OK so update
manifold is off new wastegate is ordered.
It had a real major issue controlling boost with the 38mm Gate.
So i ahve ordered a new Tial MRV (water cooled) Gate and the manifold is getting modded to help the gate flow better as its current design is a bit restrictive off the collector.
Once that's done off to get HPC coated then strap it all back on the car.

I have already modded the intercooler and piping, re routed the alternator wiring, put a 30psi boost gauge and fixed the alarm.
Now is running a 4.5 Inch varex Muffler and the front half of the exhaust is also getting HPC coated.
Also put the stock shocks and springs back in it until i get the tein springs that arnt solid lol.

Next thing after tune and power cruise is to get an evo interior (recaros) and touch up the body.

Oh I remember this car. Was next to the previous owner at Powercruise.

I still rate the CC Lancer GSR, although I hate the EVO3 aero package even though I know it's effective. Still have fond memories of GSRman's old Lancer.
This one sounds like it's had some coin spent on it.
