So I took Dave's advice and picked up some DEI titanium wrap and stainless tiesOriginally posted by BoganDAVE View PostDEI titanium heat wrap ftw
- 100ft / 30m 2" wide
- 150ft / 46m 1" wide
Rated at 982°C continuous and 1371°C intermittently so should hopefully keep temps in check.

Also picked up another Walbro GSS342 fuel pump to setup dual GSS342 walbro pumps... similar to this:

Should be all the pump i'll ever need (E85 or 98) based on the below that i have knocked off from the supra forums:
Our double pumper with two standard GSS342's in it will flow:
At 60 psi the twin pumps are good for 1200 flywheel horsepower
At 70 psi the twin pumps are good for 1106 flywheel horsepower
At 80 psi the twin pumps are good for 950 flywheel horsepower
At 100 psi the twin pumps are good for 533 flywheel horsepower

E85 will destroy those filters attached to the pumps in no time, let me know how you fix that as I'm looking for a solution as wellOriginally posted by BeverlyHillsCopI think u should marry her... slip the ring inside your ass and next time she goes in, she'll come out with a ring on her finger...

I used the stock Nissan pickup on my other pump, the basket seems to be of better quality (fine plastic mesh Vs the walbro cloth type filter) - was going to look for another one but guess now i'll make that a priority.Originally posted by XFJET View PostE85 will destroy those filters attached to the pumps in no time, let me know how you fix that as I'm looking for a solution as well
Have wrapped a few pipes before so hopefully it'll turn out decent. wrapping wet with tension and pushing slack out of it is how i usually do it.Originally posted by Rz View Posthow good are you at wrapping ? cos some people make it seriously look like shit , when it doesnt have to
Hope it dosent look shit though (as it is a shame to wrap Al's pipework as it is).

Has been a couple of busy weeks but have sorted out the intake with a couple of 4" 45 deg silicone bendsOriginally posted by denmaster View Postany updates?

And pulled the whole turbo kit off this afternoon for wrapping.
Thought i'd mock it all up on the floor and pop off a few snaps for the archive.

Nice shots, any chance of emailing them through to me? Will PM email addy. Without sounding like a fag, it looks fucking good.
I bought a 4" ally donut in case you needed me to make the inlet, just haven't had 2 seconds to call you about it. That will work spoton anyway.David Fraser - Automotive Historian!

If you can set up what you want, I can weld it up. Welding to the MAF housing and mating to the 45 on the turbo would work well and give a bit more movement to remove and fit things.
Don't worry about the pics, I just stole them off here. :DDavid Fraser - Automotive Historian!
