One of the 3 factory sensors will remain but referencing a custom 36 -1 wheel.

    Obviously not the problem sensor

Not the sensor but definitely need the new wiring. Must be something causing bad emf around it.

Plenty of people using nistune on big hp setups, and im sure I would have got there eventually. Matt from nistune has been fantastic working through my issues.

But at this point im after more skids, less science experiment

              All good :D

Patch loom has commenced, making my own Platinum sport loom from scratch.

Plan is to run the Haltech loom through the stock ECU housing (through a hole out of sight) to elsewhere where the Haltech is hidden.... all Black wiring loom so will be hard to spot.

To the casual observer it would then appear that the stock ECU is still in operation

I have to say I am really impressed by you loom making types. In PNG you would be burnt alive for such dark arts.

Does this thing run a power steer cooler by any chance? Do the stock Glorias run one?

Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

No stock cooler on the Cima (and S15) that i recall. I don't run a cooler on my setup. That said i have left an option to run a cooler if needed

I'm afraid i haven't got any updates at all! - been an epic busy (and expensive!) couple of months but am going to get back into it starting this week. Hopefully progress will flow!

Cheers mate, appreciated! Would love a hand getting the idle motor sorted once the ecu is all wired up. Maybe even a little road tuning (idle/cruise) if you are up for it?

                                Time for an update.

Unfortunately Haltech ECU's wont work out of the box on a VQ30DET - easiest way to to resolve this issue is a custom 36-1 trigger wheel.

So i had one machined up.

Which ended up as this (interference fit on crank pulley).

Then attached with M5 bolts, tooth removed and painted.

And finally installed with raised sensor platforms.

Also stealth ECU installation has begun.

tim510 has put a bucket load of time into this over the last week, all running smoothly so far... more pics to come.
