Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

            Yep thats the stuff.

ECU powered up & upgraded to lastest Haltech firmware.

            Wired and tested:

            - Air temp sensor
            - Coolant temp sensor
            - TPS
            - Ethanol sensor (tested with some old EFLEX, 68% - magic little box)
            - Crank trigger
            - Fan switching
            - Clutch switch
            - Fuel pump relays

            Wired but untested:

            - Boost control
            - Shift light
            - IAC (idle stepper motor)
            - Ignition coils (12v power source OK)
            - Injectors (12v power source OK)
            - External MAP sensor
            - Digital tacho synchroniser (6 cyl ECU outout – conversion box - 4 cyl dash tacho)
            - High/low boost switch

            Still to be wired:

            - WB O2 sensor

are you still using the stock CAS for the +1?

Dimi, we are using the stock reluctor sensor with a different chopper disk.

On the front pulley they run a 175mm 3+1 tooth disk on the backside of the pulley, the disk that is now being used is 175mm 36-1 on the front side. The stock reluctor has just been spaced forward to meet with the new chopper disk.

So fking time consuming, but chipping away at it.

                    - WB02 sensor now wired and tested (cabin display and ECU input)
                    - shift light (CREE LED, bright as fark) wired and tested

The rest will probably have to be tested on startup, which i reckon wont be too long now :D

Well another productive weekend working on the shitbox.

                        - Clutch switch installed & triggering ECU correctly
                        - Ethanol composition sensor mounted, plumbed up and leak tested (Saturday morning run to buy all the required fittings)
                        - Crank trigger wiring heat insulated and run
                        - 4-port boost controller mounted (and wiring extended yet again for final location)
                        - Air temp sensor mounted in intercooler piping (thanks to OKE020 for fitting me in on Saturday morning)

Not a lot there but literally 2 days solid work running around collecting parts and installing – all my shit under the car jobs done now.

Just need to torque up the front pulley, reinstall wastegate and it’ll be startup time.

Also have been thinking about the two-step launch control and what sort of damage can potentially be done to the engine by engaging this mode?

This GTR is running Haltech launch control so basically the same setup.

                        Haltech vid on setup

                        Should I be concerned?

It's not like you're ever going to actually launch it though are you?
