    Holy snapping duckshit batman!

    I clicked on the link to this thread expecting some fairly cobbled together thing. Read through the specs list think aw yeah, sounds pretty decent. Then a I saw power figure. :rotflol:

    I just read 4 pages cackling like a mad man. Fucking tops build mate.

          Building a new combo for this..

          Basically the same bottom end as before but going to run higher comp, TK is doing the head work on a new head and going to a big precision turbo, new custom solid cam shaft...

          Received my new billet solid rockers for it today

          Going all out this time

                How would this thing perform on a circuit, given good suspension set up & better brakes? Too many horse powers or tone it down and get it making nice progressive power through a tune / different turbo?
                How do the BTR autos perform, after being built correctly, when used as a manual (thinking 5 billionty ED-EL autos sold, so fucking cheap). Yes I know auto on the track is gay aids but so many of them around. I'm just thinking why I don't see many of these things with Kmart turbo set ups doing track days, must be something...weight only or something fundamentally wrong in the chassis?

                  I'm not sure exactly but I can tell you this much, the BTR's can be a touch explodey due to lubrication issues in the extension housing at extended high speeds.

                      Saloon car's go alright. Get some good suspension and lose some weight and they are ok. Chassis isn't great however = too much oversteer and understeer! haha. Most of the owners are like Holden owners man, they just use them at the drags and not interested in circuit.

                          received my freshly ported head from TK yesterday! hes done a awesome job and defiantly recommend anyone that wants a port job done to go to him

                          also received my new turbo and a few other bits and pieces yesterday, just waiting on my pistons, head studs and intake plenum to turn up and i can start getting it machined and assembled
