    Cammed LS1 LX Torana

    Engine: LS1 (from VZ)

    Exhaust: Custom 4-1 Extractors, Nothing past the extractors just yet

    Suspension: Standard (on the to-do list)

    Wheels: VY R8 until funds for welds are available (any other commo wheels suit it?)

    Modifications: Aftermarket Performance Wholesale Heads that have been locally CNC Ported, DR Chain, YT Roller Rockers 1.7's, Comp Cams 238/240, TUFF Mounts, Morosso Sump, Morosso remote oil filter, MSD 5096 Starter, DTM Built 1000hp rated TH400 (full manual forward shift etc), TCI Flexplate, B&M Hi-Tek Fan with Thermo/Sensor, Borg Warner Diff from R31 Skyline, Hopper Stoppers 290mm Front Brake Kit, 4.11's, 044, Custom radiator/fans/shroud

    Estimated Power: 400rwhp (made more in manual VZ engine is from)

    Second owner of this car, had it 4+ years and its now coppping some well deserved love... carefully planned LS1 conversion underway with rego in mind. No converter yet, will be ordering a 4000rpm unit from Dominator or TCE very soon.

    Just in first magazine during the build.

    Cool! I'd try and keep it somewhat sleeper spec, hard to do with a cammed LS1 though, still this thing looks like it'll haul ass, needs turbo(s) too.

          Unfortunately with rego in mind there is no way i can run 14" wheels

          290mm brakes were the smallest the engineer would allow. Which means 15's will be it

          Thats the downside of engine conversions that aim for legality!

                            Good stuff but yeah those rims are not the ones .. 18s /19s are too big and the style doesnt suit either . Dont think you can go past stock looking body with a set of old school 16 inch Simmons . or maybe one of the retro styled like these ?:
