Yeah 10kg is more just "normal" rather than light. I was tempted to upgrade to the RS flywheel, but since it's not dual-mass like the stock one, you have to do the whole caboodle with clutch etc. And then at the end, apparently some ppl get issues with the car stalling, so the ecu needs to be reflashed with new code to sort it out. In the end it was a bit spendy, so I just put a new stock clutch in when I had to do a change.Originally posted by Shitbreak View Post10kg for a sports flywheel is pretty bloody heavy. Going from a 9kg to a 4.3kg in my GTiR rocked my world. Surely it would do wonders to this 964?

You wouldn't find this dodginess on a Datsun.Originally posted by jzx83 View PostMegaLOL. Now Babs has started improving on shoddy German engineering.
No, seriously. You wouldn't.
Step drill is a great ideaOriginally posted by styler View PostMad idea on the nutserts, tradetools has a well priced kit and I may have to invest...
Those deburrer tools are awesome also step drill works wonders for big messy burrs
in my case the burrs were all on the inside face of that bracket tho so no way to get a drill in there, but a good tip for the future.
IIRC, mine was $125 or something from eBay, comes with 250 nutserts in various sizes (altho I think some of them you wouldn't use, ever, so it's more like 100 of the common sizes).Japanese Nostalgic Car - Dedicated to classic japanese cars

yup - it's not a big issue just annoying when coming up to traffic lights if you didn't blip the throttle. that 911 chip thing i got is programmed to fix it, which was nice.Originally posted by Babalouie View PostYeah 10kg is more just "normal" rather than light. Yea, but then upgrading to RS flywheel turns a $2k clutch change into a $3.5k exercise, and the spending has got to stop *sometime*
