Hmm part of me loves the attention to detail...

The other part of me thinks you could have saved some decent weight at the right end of the car without a trip interstate by just replacing that heavy muffler......

It's not about the weight saving, well not really

It's about having cool parts on the car...Porka sold out of the alloy bonnets about 10yrs ago. And they were only fitted to Carrera RS, 3.8 RSR and Carrera Cup race cars. So it's the sort of hardware that I like to have on the car on sheer principle :D

Not really, it normally flies open on gas struts. So by having to actually lift it open, it'll seem heavier than stock
