I don't think the centrelock conversions are cheap, either $500 a corner IIRC

All good. Its clearly not a purists car thats for sure. Thats why I think it might be fun for a while. I would not fuck up a good factory car, but this thing is cheap and already quite messed with so why not go to town and do somthing outlandish like Olive drab for the sake of doing it.

RE the wheels. I would say someone in Japland had it as a weekend racer given the chosen shell type, wheels, coilovers, shifter, full exhaust system, rear seat delete Harness points, cage and the 500,000 Webber's .

                          Onya Uncle, nice pickup.

Keen to see evidence of driven in anger. What are the engine specs?

It got a 3ltr in late 2009. Still to view the full file of work but the carbs are new and has some kind of aftermarket ignition set up. The engine bay is a little messy as you would expect but that wont take too long to fix up.
Once I get it back here I'll get my mate to chuck it on the dyno and check the tune out.
I was planning on stopping at Wakefield on the way back but there is a race meet on.

MSD's are a common sight on carbed 911s.

Looks like "M&W ignitions" on the box but it's hard to see.
