    Your muffler isn't straight.

Welcome to the NM35 club too :D

Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

Thanks guys. I had sectioned my floor a touch at the front but had left the rear of the tunnel as that had the seat belt mount.

Jason, yep muffler is crooked (I prefer asymmetric) as I could only find an offset to center muffler at the time. Really needed offset offset.

I am thoroughly enjoying the nm35 too, though the gear changes and throttle response could be a tad better. Cool car though, glad I didn't buy a falcon.

I finished welding up the middle of my exhaust, just need to add a couple of hangers.

And I also received my front suspension from Maddat. Custom hubs on 200b struts with rx7 calipers and rotors. They fit nicely in a 15" wantanabe.

I also mounted my control arms, steering arms, ball joints, steering linkage and steering box.

So now I can say "look ma, no hoist"

Jobs left to do before it can drive out of the shed under it's own power.
          • Torque Rear Axle nuts (might put longer wheel studs in first, but that would mean pulling control arms out again)
Bolt and torque half shafts to axles
Get some intake fuel line and o-ring/retainer for the fuel sender so that I can mount up the tank
Run some wiring for the fuel pump
Mount battery and run some power feeds
Mount the steering column (wouldn't mind replacing the rubber connection with a unijoint, but that will come later)
Run one more short length of hard line for rear passenger brake
Make the brake line fixings more permanent
            Mount the soft brake lines
            Fluids
            • Transmission
              Differential
              Brakes
              Clutch

            Make a handbrake mount
Make a temporary mount for the gauges
Neaten up some of the wiring
            Make an air intake/filter

Then it is onto some of the more cosmetic body work type jobs.

Some of the above jobs may not actually happen before the car gets driven out of the shed for a wash (maybe with someone holding a fuel pump in a jerry can and another holding a battery on the passenger seat, ha).

                Nice work.
You could always chop the spare wheel well out entirely for a cleaner look and bettter muffler hanging. The panel beneath the rear bumper as well if you have a nice diff to look at.

Cheers guys. Would do a few things differently if I had more time but for now I just want to get it back on the road. A nice custom tank under the car like a z would be nice.

I haven't had a chance to get my stagea on the hoist yet, so no idea what they look like underneath or how high I can get it on the hoist. Will try and get it up there next month and let you know what I think.

Where you get it up there, check out either the cracks on the rear sub frame or the dodgy japanese welds over them
