I think most of the lichen has died due to the change in climate from where it was.

lichen takes care of itself, all you need to do is not wash the car which in this case isn;t an issue as it would dissolve under the pressure of a karcher. i had lichen growing on my corona that i think it got infested with from a certain car park, only got to the size of a 50 cent coin though.

If I have a car without lichen but want lichen what do I have to do? High humidity under a shady tree perhaps?
