People have been 4.30s(~6 sec 1/4) on the 1/8th with 275s, slightly different chassis setup to a rodeo though.... :D

Maybe I should have left the 4cyl in it as they've run 6's with them

          zing!

i tend to agree, just because someone did an 8 on a 275 with 1300hp doesn't mean something with 500hp can't get more grip with a 325

severely doubt it over the pro radials

              Ls1 Rodeo

Fair few years back now there was a bloke running a 355 Holden v8 hilux at willowbank, caltracks & big rubber. Struggled with grip and from memory was going to throw a 4 link in to try get it off the line

To be honest I don't car how fast it runs it's already awesome

Really depends on your rear end setup. You can get a lot out of a 9" bag or struggle with a 12" bag.

                    Under bonnet all back in

                    Waiting on
*tailshaft which needs to be lengthened 3 inches and have an AU yoke fitted to the rear
*auto dipstick (on its way from my very good friends at VPW)
                    *redo auto cooler lines (again)
*source a speedo cable and a cable drive speedo
*make brake lines and source custom made handbrake cables

When I told my mate that lengthening the tailshaft 3 inches would probably cost $400 he suggested shortening the chassis by three inches would cost a couple of sawzall blades and some argon...

TCI Th350 and 3500 stall in, shifter and cooler lines done

Decided I'm going to adapt the old tailshaft to the AU diff so waiting on a spacer to be machined up

Decided the nitrous box took up too much room so downsized it a bit

Got the spacer from Mxpaul (a month ago if I'm honest) and redrilled the AU yoke to suit. Need to take the tailshaft down to my tailshaft guy to discuss the easiest (cheapest) way to stretch it

Good work Chuck I was wondering where that spacer got to.

Just finishing up the brake lines

This is a valve to retain residual pressure for the rear drums, yeah? (It doesn't have a lever out of it so it's not a load sensor for brake bias)
