So here we go again (with no 911 puns).
Ever since i knew i was leaving Germany and coming back to AU, i knew i wanted a car project waiting for me. I jumped from R32 GTR, R34 GTR, KPGC10 and RA28 Celica. My decision was made for me when a friend said he wanted to fund his house project and move one of his 240Zs. So even though it was paid for months and months ago, last weekend i collected the car. The collection was not so simple. What was "diagnosed" as a faulty coil, turned out to be much much worse. So currently, its just kind of "existing" until my mates and i can attack it over a weekend and replace so much of the dodgy wiring. It also needs a new cooling system ASAP as even with the fan on, it will overheat in traffic.
This time i will be doing it right. This wont be a daily driver, and it will get the money and time that it deserves. In short. Its a project car that will take as long as it takes.
The paint has been poorly prepared, and will need redoing. But so far there seems to be very minimal rust (that i have found). So while there are grand plans, i will leave that for future posts, whats important now are the specs.
